This fully automatic packaging line features an automatic bagger, automatic bag changer, and a high-speed automatic sewing machine (heat sealer). Benson’s packaging machines with dual scales typically consist of the following components:
Automatic Bag Placement System: This automatic bag placement system helps customers automatically place bags, saving significant labor costs. It supports paper bags, sachets, or laminated bags.
Dual Weighing and Filling System: This system includes two weighing units or scales that accurately measure the weight of the product being packaged. The dual scales ensure precise and consistent weighing of the product. It can package at speeds of 400 to 600 bags per hour.
Automatic Bag Clamping and Shifting System (Bag Shifter): This system automatically clamps the bag opening and moves the filled bag to the sewing machine with a conveyor system.
Conveyor System: The packaging machine is equipped with a conveyor system that moves the product from the infeed area to the packaging area. This ensures a smooth and continuous flow of packaged product.
Control System: The packaging machine is controlled by an automated control system that manages the weighing process, packaging operations, and other settings. It allows for customization of parameters such as weight, speed, and packaging options.
Packaging Machinery: Once the product is accurately weighed, the packaging machinery takes over. It may include components such as bagging machines, bag fillers, or other packaging equipment depending on the specific application and product requirements.
High-Speed Bag Sewing System: Industrial high-speed bag sewing systems, mounted on a base, sew bags at speeds of 20 bags per minute or more. They close polywall paper, woven, BOPP, and laminated woven polypropylene open-mouth bags. Start/stop and thread/tape cutter photo eyes are standard, and all bases are factory-tested before shipment. Other options include thread trimmer controls, thread breakage detection kits, and a high-speed power feed with bag top folding. The same person who places and fills the bags can also feed the filled bags into the sewing system. For greater automation, an automatic bag top reformer is recommended to reform the bag top before automatically guiding it into the power feed and sewing head.
